Golden Child ‘Island Life’ Sauvignon Blanc is not your average Savvy B. This wine brings freshness, texture, and a bit of winemaking soul. Grown on the Hamilton family estate in Kuitpo, this Sauvignon Blanc was wild-fermented in mostly older French oak barrels (both Hogs Head and Puncheon sizes), adding layered complexity without the overt oakiness.

The cool 2022 vintage delivered exceptional fruit, translating into intense citrus and mineral characters. You’ll find luscious notes of grapefruit, lemon, and a whisper of pear and stonefruit, all wrapped in a creamy, textural palate that gives it a surprising depth—think the brightness of a Sauvignon Blanc with the structure of a Chardonnay.
