Shipping Policy
At McLaren Vale Cellars, we strive to provide a seamless and reliable shipping experience for our customers. We have partnered with Australia Post to ensure that your orders are delivered safely and efficiently. Please review the following information regarding our shipping policy:
Shipping Locations:
We currently offer shipping within Australia only. We do not provide international shipping at this time.
Order Processing Time:
Once your order is placed, we aim to process and ship your items the following business day around 9 am. Please note that orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed and shipped the next business day. Some items are sent from multiple sites and may arrive at separate times.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times:
We exclusively use Australia Post for shipping our products. The estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Metropolitan Areas: 2 - 6 business days
- Regional Areas: 5 - 7 business days
Please note that these are estimated delivery times, and delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or peak holiday seasons. We strive to keep you informed of any significant delays that may affect your order.
Shipping Costs:
We offer free shipping Australia-wide for all orders above $100. Shipping costs for orders below this amount will be calculated based on the total weight of your order and will be displayed during the checkout process.
Tracking Your Order:
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment on the Australia Post website or via their app.
Delivery Attempts and Signature:
Australia Post will make multiple delivery attempts to deliver your package. If no one is available to receive the package, a collection notice will be left, and you can arrange for redelivery or pickup at your nearest Australia Post office. Alternatively, you can complete the delivery instructions for your package to be left in a safe place or download the Australia Post app to redirect your parcel or leave it in an Australia Post parcel locker. It is possible for an order with more than one item to have different delivery dates or times for each item.
Wine Shipping Restrictions:
Please note that there are legal restrictions on shipping wine to certain locations within Australia. We comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and shipment of alcoholic beverages. If we are unable to ship to your location, we will notify you promptly and process a refund for your order.
Order Modifications and Address Changes:
If you need to make changes to the shipping address or modify the order contents after placing your order, please contact us at sales@mclarenvalecellars.com as soon as possible. Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete to avoid any delivery issues.
Please note that if an incorrect delivery address is provided and the package is sent to the incorrect address or is returned to us, McLaren Vale Cellars cannot be held responsible for the costs of replacement or resending the item/s.
A refund for the item/s can be provided minus the cost of the shipping and or return shipping for each item.
Order Errors and Replacements
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all order details, including product selection, quantities, and shipping address, are accurate at the time of purchase. McLaren Vale Cellars is not responsible or liable for any errors made by the customer during the ordering process, including incorrect product selection or shipping information.
If a customer requests a replacement for an order error that they have made, a replacement fee of $10 per item will apply. This fee covers administrative, processing, and handling costs associated with the replacement. Additionally, customers will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with the replacement order.
To request a replacement, please contact us at sales@mclarenvalecellars.com with your order details. Replacements are subject to product availability and are not guaranteed.
We take utmost care in packaging and securing your products for transit. However, if your order arrives damaged or if there are any discrepancies, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
